Another BIG planting

Another great turn out and what lovely weather we had too. In total we had 40 volunteers of all ages turn out for our BIG planting by the Bloodwood steps. 🌱

We had our regular volunteers, a few who were at our BIG planting in January plus 21 newbies helping out for the first time.

After a short introduction and sign in, we headed down the Bloodwood track to the new steps where Steve from B4C was waiting with 500 native plants ready to go. Our team got to work and in just over an hour all the plants were in and we were able to enjoy an extended morning tea and congratulate one another on our achievement.

Thanks to everyone for their help making this happen and special mention goes out to Heather and Phyllis for providing lots of home baked goodies and Steve from B4C who did a fantastic job in the background, bringing the plants, supervising planting and doing the follow up watering. He was still going when we left. 👍
